Welcome to the Princeton Municipal Light Department (PMLD) website. Within these pages you will find information about who we are, doing business with us and how to contact us. Here, we also provide general information and links related to the electric utility business — deregulation, green power, renewable resources, safety, and energy conservation.

PMLD is a non-profit public service corporation whose primary goal is to provide reliable and low cost electric service to the residents and businesses of the Town of Princeton. PMLD is a Town asset, working as a separate governmental unit, with its own Board of Light Commissioners, policies and budget serving the needs and providing value to our ratepayers.

Because it is the nature of websites to change, evolve and grow, we ask that you check back often to view our progress and keep up with current events.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any comments or suggestions.

You can pay your PMLD bill, online,
through UniBank's secure payment processing.

Tips

 Before using online bill paying:
  • Requires Internet Explorer browser.
  • You will have to enter your PMLD account number (from your bill).
  • Also, you will need your bank account number and your bank's ABA routing number (these are at the bottom of a blank check).

A suggestion:
Create a notepad file on your desktop to keep these numbers handy
— you will need them each month.
